Kaitlyn Doell
Certified Esthetician and Salon Owner
My name is Kaitlyn Wilkinson, and I am the proud owner of Esthetics by Kaitlyn. My mission is to provide clients with a high-end spa experience in a more intimate, calming, and personalized environment. I strive to create a space where every client feels relaxed, valued, and confident in their own skin.
My passion for esthetics began at the age of 13, when I would spend hours doing nails for my friends. I was drawn to the creativity, attention to detail, and the joy of helping others feel beautiful. While I explored other career paths during high school, I was always captivated by the opportunity to connect with people and make a positive impact through this work.
I completed my formal training at MC College, where I honed my skills and deepened my commitment to the industry. Shortly after, I competed in several esthetics competitions—placing first in the provincial competition and earning the honor of representing Saskatchewan at the 2015 Skills Canada National Trades Competition. My work was featured on CBC News, which led to an opportunity at one of Saskatoon’s top-rated day spas, where I worked full-time and continued to grow as a professional.
Today, with years of experience behind me, I remain deeply passionate about the esthetics industry. I am committed to continuing my education, staying current with trends and techniques, and most importantly—helping every client look and feel their best.
I have personally experienced the challenges of living with acne-prone skin, and I know just how much it can impact self-esteem. As someone who struggled with self-confidence for years, I understand how difficult it can be to feel comfortable in your own skin. With the support of a dermatologist, I was able to overcome many of those challenges—and the transformation in both my skin and confidence was life-changing.
That experience shaped my purpose. I want every client to feel truly seen and supported, no matter what skin or nail concerns they face. My goal is to help others achieve that same confidence, relief and self-love through personalized care, professional treatments, and a compassionate approach. I genuinely care about each of my clients and their unique journeys—and I want them to know they’re never just a number.
My passion for continuous learning, my dedication to client care, and my background in customer service have all prepared me well for this business. These values are at the heart of everything I do. In June 2017, I took a leap of faith and opened my business, formerly known as Esthetics by Kaitlyn. Since then, we’ve expanded our offerings to include mobile nail care, up to a distance of 30 minutes out of Saskatoon, allowing us to serve clients in even more personalized and exciting ways.
